Open Enrollment Classes
All classes are taught in the comfort of the Safe Pace Defense facility. Complementary light snacks and refreshments available during all class sessions.
Please note that loaded firearms and live ammunition are always prohibited in the Safe Pace Defense facility.
Classes will start on-time. Doors open 30 minutes prior to start of class.
Multi-State Concealed Carry Permit
This is class covers all of the basic requirements to apply for a concealed carry permit in Oregon and Utah. This is the most popular combination of concealed carry permits for Oregonians as it allows the holder to carry a concealed handgun in 35 states including Washington. Students will leave with all required applications, required headshot photos and fingerprints. Student will have the opportunity at the end of the class for a demo of the Smokeless Range shooting simulator.

Advanced CCW Workshop
Do you have a CCW but struggle with how to properly carry a pistol or what equipment you actually need? This class is for you. We will cover in depth all of the topics that the CCW application class only scratches the surface of. Some of the things we will cover are; the pros and cons of different carry methods and equipment options, what’s required to travel out of state and commercial air travel. We will also talk about CCW insurance options and laws regarding self defense. This course will have a strong emphasis on group Q&A so that all of your questions are answered by the time you leave. This course does NOT qualify you for CCW application, please see Multi-State Concealed Carry Permit. Classes will start on-time, doors open 30 minutes prior to start of class.

Families with Firearms
This class is designed for parents or future parents to learn how to keep your home safe from guns accidents. We will cover safe storage options, how to talk to your kids about guns, suicide prevention, fundamentals of firearm safety. This class puts strong emphasis on group discussion and Q&A so that all of your questions and concerns will be addressed. This program is open to adults 18 and over.
