How do I register for classes?
What experience levels do you work with?
All levels! It doesn’t matter if you have never held a gun before or you are working a job that requires you to carry a gun everyday.
Do you teach kids? What ages?
Yes! Just like working with adults, we can accommodate all skill levels. We start by covering the most important aspect: safety. Once we’ve established safety rules and good habits, we will cover fundamental marksmanship using the Smokeless Range simulator. While there is no lower age limit, we ask parents to use discretion based on their child’s level of maturity for this very serious subject. Parents will also be expected to take an active role in all youth classes.
Do you teach CCW classes?
Yes! We have Multi-State (Oregon/Utah) CCW classes twice a week. You can register for this class here, or schedule a private class if these times don’t work with your schedule.
Do you offer private instruction?
Absolutely! Most of our classes are built around private instruction for groups of 1-6 students. If you are looking for a private class with more than 6 students, please email us.
I got my CCW but I don’t know what kind of gun to get or how to carry it.
You are not alone! This is very common amongst new CCW holders. We offer an open enrollment course every week called Advanced CCW Workshop. We will go into depth talking about the pros and cons of different carry methods, holsters, calibers, insurance and much more.

Can I use my own gun in the simulator?
We can accommodate training with most guns. While much of the class you will use one of our simulator guns, it is very beneficial to use the gun that you carry. We have special inserts that can be used so that your gun can be used as a simulator gun.
Do you sell guns?
No. We do not sell or transfer firearms. We recommend that you contact Gun & Boot & Gear in Astoria, OR. They are a top notch store and can help you with all firearms purchases.
Why do you use a simulator instead of live fire?
The simulator isn’t designed to replace live fire shooting, you still need to train with your own gun. But the areas that most people need improvement in are raw fundamentals. By using the simulator we can work with a multitude of programs that are designed to improve shooting fundamentals. For CCW holders, we also have the ability to run video simulations that wouldn’t otherwise be possible.
Can I come in with a friend and just shoot for fun?
Absolutely! Check out our group simulator training class. This class all about you and what you want to do. It’s all about improving your skills and having fun at the same time.
